Extra-Curricular Clubs
BREAKFAST CLUB
As an Early Adopter of the Free Breakfast Club initiative Thurlestone Academy offers a free breakfast club from 8:00 - 8:40am.
All sessions must be booked or paid for in advance using MCAS
The breakfast club is run by two members of school staff.
Our bus children are able to come into breakfast club at 8.20 am when they arrive and the cost of this is included in their bus ticket price.
All children at breakfast club are entitled to a drink and breakfast of course!
Our breakfast club is part sponsored by Tally Ho.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR CLUBS
We are committed to providing a rich and exciting curriculum for all children. As well as a vibrant class based curriculum, we provide a wide range of curricular clubs which all children can join.
Summer Term 2026
Monday-Lego Club until 4:30pm Fee applicable
Tuesday – After school club with Mr F until 4:30pm Fee applicable.
ECO club until 4:30pm. Fee applicable.
Wednesday- After school club- Cricket with our PE providers. Free
Thursday- After school club with Mr F until 4:30pm. Fee applicable.
Friday- Try it Club until 4:30pm. Fee applicable.
Netball until 4:30pm. Free

Music: We offer peripatetic lessons in Guitar, Piano and Violin.
The teachers come in to school and children have lessons (length to be decided in consultation with music teacher) at different times of the day on a rolling programme. Parents liaise directly with the peripatetic teachers to arrange and pay for lessons.
