A smart dress code benefits everyone
The governors, staff and parents at All Saints’ Thurlestone Church of England Academy place great emphasis on high standards.
Our drive to realising these standards encompasses all aspects of academy life; teaching and learning; relationships; behaviour and dress code, etc. Wearing of the correct academy uniform is essential.
The support of parents is very important in this. It is very important that all clothing is clearly labelled.
Boys Uniform
- Green sweatshirt or jumper with academy logo – available online
- Green shirt or polo shirt with academy logo (optional) – available online Book bag with academy logo (optional) – available online
- Navy Blue or Black trousers (winter) or shorts (summer)
- Navy, grey or black socks
- Sensible black outdoor shoes
Girls Uniform
- Green sweatshirt, cardigan or jumper with academy logo – available online
- Green shirt or polo shirt with academy logo (optional) – available online Book bag with academy logo (optional) – available online
- Navy Blue or Black skirt, trousers or pinafore (winter)
- Green & White checked dress (summer)
- White socks
- Sensible black outdoor shoes (winter) or sandals (summer)
PE Kit
- White PE T-shirt with logo (optional) – available online
- PE bag
- Plain blue shorts
- Green T-Shirt (with academy logo optional)
- Black slip on plimsolls
- Trainers (Juniors only)
- Plain tracksuit (optional for winter PE sessions)
- For Swimming (Year 3-6) you will need a swimsuit and towel and a bag to keep them in
Jewellery, makeup and nail varnish are not permitted with the exception of a watch and small stud earrings, which must be removed or covered for PE. The school cannot take responsibility for loss or damage of pupils’ personal possessions and items such as mobile telephones.
Hair: Children with hair longer than collar length should have their hair tied back at all times. Children’s hair should be one natural hair colour. Shaven heads and unsuitable fashion haircuts are not permitted.
